The installation of drawer slides is very simple, but there are some details that need to be paid attention to, otherwise the drawers installed later cannot be used normally. The three-section slides we usually say are the same thing. Drawer slides can be divided into three parts: outer rails, middle rails, and inner rails.
When installing the drawer slide, you need to remove the inner rail the main body of the drawer slide. The removal method is also very simple. There is a spring clip on the back of the drawer slide. Just press it lightly to remove the inner rail. (Note that the middle rail and outer rail are not removable and cannot be removed by force)
Install the outer rail and middle rail of the split slide on both sides of the drawer body first, and then install the inner rail on the side panels of the drawer. If it is a finished piece of furniture, the holes in the drawer body and drawer side panels are pre-punched for easy installation, and you need to punch the holes yourself. (When installing the slide, it is recommended to assemble the drawer as a whole first. There are two holes on the track for adjusting the up and down and front and back distance of the drawer. At the same time, ensure that the left and right slides are at the same horizontal position, and the difference cannot be too large)
Then install the inner and outer rails, and fix the inner rail to the length of the drawer cabinet with screws at the measured position (note that the inner rail and the already installed and fixed middle rail and outer rail should keep the same position)
Then align the inner rails on both sides of the fixed cabinet with the slide rail interfaces installed on the drawer, and push hard to install it successfully (Note that if the middle rail and the outer rail are not kept level on the left and right in the previous step, it will be stuck and cannot be pushed in. At this time, either check the position of the outer rail or adjust the position of the inner rail to match the outer rail.)
