The feature of Caster

Caster production process: a comprehensive analysis from raw materials to finished products

Casters, as an important industrial and civilian accessories, are widely used in furniture, trolleys, medical equipment and other fields. Its production process involves multiple links, from raw material selection to finished product testing, each step is crucial. The following is a detailed production process of casters, covering each major step raw materials to finished products.

1. Raw material preparation

The main raw materials of casters include metals (such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloy), plastics (such as polypropylene, polyurethane) and rubber. The specific choice depends on the purpose and use environment of the caster.

Metal materials: Steel and stainless steel are mainly used for the bracket and bearing parts of the caster to provide strength and durability.

Plastic materials: Plastics such as polypropylene and polyurethane are used in the manufacture of wheels, which are light, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant.

Rubber materials: Natural rubber or synthetic rubber is used to make tires, providing good shock absorption and grip.

2. Component manufacturing

Each caster consists of multiple components, including wheels, brackets, bearings and fasteners. Different processing techniques are required to produce these components.

Wheel manufacturing:

Plastic injection molding: Heat and melt plastic particles such as polypropylene and polyurethane through an injection molding machine and inject them into the mold for molding.

Rubber vulcanization: Vulcanize the rubber mixture under high temperature and high pressure, and then cool and trim it.

Bracket manufacturing:

Stamping: Punch the steel plate or stainless steel plate into the preliminary shape of the bracket through a punching machine. Welding and assembly: Weld the stamped bracket parts to form a complete bracket structure.
